A century of terroir. Our heritage.

Here, history precedes the stones.

The name of Saint Julian has spanned the centuries since the 3rd century, when a Roman centurion named Julian renounced his weapons to embrace the Christian faith.
His story would leave a lasting mark on the region. In 1095, Pope Urban II sanctified him and blessed the Château chapel, which has borne his name ever since.

Since then, time has continued its work.

Château Saint Julien d’Aille can be read in the sun-warmed stone, in the shade of the trees, in the rows of vines that gently follow the landscape, in the bliss of the olive grove. For over a century, the estate has grown to the rhythm of this Provençal land, without ever seeking to rush it.

Here, nothing is thought of in the moment.

From one hand to the other

A vine planted today is for those who will harvest its fruits tomorrow. Skills are passed down, seasons return, generations pass. And the land remains.

Saint Julien d’Aille has never sought to rush. It has chosen time.

The time the vine needs.
The time the wine needs.
The time beautiful things need to become a legacy.
