History

The Château’s roots date back to Ancient Rome, as reflected in its name,

a tribute to a Roman soldier (“centurion” in French) named Julien,

martyred in 304 AD.

Since Antiquity, the domain has been home of the Cistercians

from the Abbey of Saint Victor in Marseille

and later it was given by legacy to the Pasteur Institute

that owned it until 1973.

Afterwards our domain has seen several generations of wine growers

which sensibility and experience have produced this splendid vineyard.

Today and since 1999 the domain is the property of Bernard Fleury’s family
